We have some very friendly birds visiting every morning right outside our condos. (You can see our building in the picture with egrets below -- the white triangle is where my hand was trying to block out some of the morning sun!) The crane in particular seemed quite at home among us -- he really did let us get within 5 feet of him! (Click on any picture to enlarge.)
